The Recycled Plastic Factory is continuously seeking ways to minimize our environmental impact while improving our 100% recycled plastic products. Listed below are practices we currently have in place: 

 

• Raw materials used to make our 100% recycled plastic products are post-consumer and post-industrial recycled plastic waste collected in the State of Florida, which diverts waste from our landfills.

 

• Our non-toxic products contain no BPAs or PVCs, which can be harmful to the environment

• No greenhouse gases are produced in our manufacturing process.

 

• Our products are low maintenance, minimizing the use of water and chemicals needed to clean them.

• No wood fillers are used in our products, thereby not contributing to deforestation.

 

• Most finished products are shipped palletized, virtually eliminating the need for corrugated cardboard in our packaging. 

• Raw materials are stored in containers recycled and reused from other industries.

 

• All of our marketing materials are printed on recycled paper and we encourage customer and vendor communication via email to minimized paper usage.

• By manufacturing 100% recycled plastic lumber and products we encourage recycling.

 

• Raw material overruns are re-ground and used in future products.

• Our products are recyclable

 

• Fluorescent lighting is used throughout our facility and properly disposed when changed.

• Recycled Plastic Factory is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Florida Green Building Coalition
